Record a Custom Conference Introduction In this topic:Learn how to record a custom conference introduction.

Creating a custom conference introduction (personal greeting) adds to the professionalism of your conference call.
To create a custom prompt (personal greeting):

  1. Dial in to your conference using your host passcode.
  2. Press *32.
  3. Follow the prompts.

If you have not previously recorded a conference introduction (personal greeting), after pressing *32 you will hear the following:
"To record your personal greeting press 1 or to return to your meeting press star (*).

If you have previously recorded a conference introduction (personal greeting), after pressing *32 you will hear the following:
"To record your personal greeting press 1.
To delete your existing greeting press 2.
To listen to your greeting press 3, or to return to your meeting press star (*)."

If you press star (*), you will hear the following:
"You will now rejoin the meeting."

After pressing 1, you will hear the following:
"Please wait for the tone, then say your personal greeting and press the pound or hash key (#)."

After pressing the pound or hash key (#), you will hear the following:
"You recorded _________ as your personal greeting.
To record your personal greeting press 1.
To delete your existing greeting press 2.
To listen to your greeting press 3, or to return to your meeting press star (*)."

After pressing 2, you will hear the following:
"Your personal greeting is no longer active. You will now rejoin the meeting."

After pressing 3, you will hear the following:
"You recorded _________ as your personal greeting.
To record your personal greeting press 1.
To delete your existing greeting press 2.
To listen to your greeting press 3, or to return to your meeting press star (*)."
