Solving Basic Connectivity Issues
In this topic:If you’re having problems connecting to a conference, it might be the result of some basic connectivity issues.
Basic connectivity issues typically result from:
- Fast busy or regular busy signals when dialing into a conference call
- A carrier message heard when dialing into a conference call
- Silence after dialing your conference call number
If you experience any of these issues, first check your dial-in number to ensure you are dialing correctly. Try using the alternate toll or toll-free number assigned to your call. If you hear silence after dialing your conference call number, please remain on the line for 15-20 seconds to ensure this is not caused by a delay in the “Welcome” prompts. After connecting to the call, please provide your operator the number you were dialing from and the number you were dialing to for further research.
