Minimum System Requirements for Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 Web Access
In this topic:Learn the minimum system requirements necessary to host or attend a meeting using Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 Web Access.
To host or attend a meeting using the Microsoft® Office Live Meeting web console, your system must be equipped with the following operating systems (with browser and Java Virtual Machine specifications) to support the web console:
- Windows 98 SE: Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1 with Sun 1.5.11, 1.6.x
- Windows 2000 SP4: Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1 installed with Sun 1.5.11, 1.6.x
- Windows XP SP 1a: Internet Explorer 6.0 with SP1 installed with Sun 1.5.11, 1.6.x
- Windows XP SP2: Internet Explorer 6.0 with Sun 1.5.11, 1.6.x; Internet Explorer 7 with Sun 1.5.11, 1.6.x, or; Firefox 2.0 with Sun 1.5.11, 1.6.x
- Windows Vista: Internet Explorer 7 with Sun 1.6.x
- Mac OS X V10.3: Safari 1.3 with Apple Java 1.4.2
- Mac OS X V10.4: Safari 2.0 with Apple Java 1.4.2x
- Solaris 10: Mozilla Firefox 1.7 with Sun 1.5.11, 1.6.x
The following additional software may be required:
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2000 or later presentation graphics program, or Microsoft Office Standard Edition or Professional Edition to upload presentations
- Adobe Flash Player version 9 or higher to view multi-media data content slides
To view slides with audio or video content in the meeting, the following are recommended:
- Windows Media technologies player, version 9 or 10, to view Windows Media content in the meeting
- Apple QuickTime player and the Windows Media Components for QuickTime by Flip4Mac on the Apple Macintosh platform
- Windows Media Player Firefox Plug-in when using Firefox on Windows XP
