IBM LotusLive Meetings is a web conferencing solution designed for quick implementation and easy use. As a result, it is ideal for everyday use by people of all skill levels. Widely deployed by service providers, equipment vendors and enterprises, LotusLive Meetings works as a standalone service or as part of a more comprehensive communication solution. LotusLive Meetings is hosted by IBM and accessed through the Internet. 

To access IBM LotusLive Meetings, the customer organization must subscribe to the service and individual users must be provisioned as subscribers within the LotusLive system. Once provisioned, organizers may schedule and hold interactive web conferences. LotusLive provides a consistent meeting room that organizers use for all of their web meetings.
 
To get started using LotusLive Meetings, simply follow these steps:
 
  1. Log in to your PGiMeet Site. You will need your client ID, or email and password, to log in to the site.
  2. Select “LotusLive Web Meetings” from the “More PGi Solutions” section of the PGiMeet Customer Site homepage. This will take you to the LotusLive Meetings Login page.
  3. Select “LotusLive Meetings” from the drop-down menu and select the desired audio conferencing reservation. Click Go.
 
LotusLive Meetings offers the following collaborative capabilities:
 
  • Share content: LotusLive Meetings allows users to share multiple types of content, either through uploading a document into the LotusLive system or through application and desktop sharing. Supported document types for upload are Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, IBM Lotus Symphony, IBM Smarts Suite and Adobe PDF.
  • Live webcam video: A live webcam video of participants displayed alongside the presentation is available.
  • Polling: Presenters can present polls to meeting attendees to obtain feedback on customized questions.
  • Chat pane: This feature allows attendees to virtually raise their hands to ask verbal or text questions. Chats can be sent and responded to individually through specified Q&A groups or to all attendees.
  • Annotation tools: Interactive tools include a pointer arrow, a highlighter with multiple color options and an annotation eraser.
  • Audio and web recording: LotusLive Meetings supports integrated audio and web recordings that synchronized the web and audio portions of the meeting for offline viewing. These recordings are accessed directly from within the host’s personal meeting room.
  • Online help: Online help is accessible from directly within the LotusLive Meetings console, allowing for on-the-fly help.
