Record My Scheduled ReadyConference Call In this topic:Set up automatic recording for scheduled ReadyConference calls, confirm recording is taking place and access recordings for later use.

Conference call recording can be enabled when scheduling a ReadyConference® meeting on the MyRCPlus site. A recording scheduled in this fashion will begin when the host dials into the conference call.

Schedule a recording using the following steps:

  1. Log in to MyRCPlus. Under the “Account Management” drop-down, select Schedule a 1-time Audio Conf.
  2. Fill in details of your meeting normally. At the bottom of the form, select Enable recording of conference.
  3. Click Add Scheduled Times, and select a time for your conference. Complete your reservation by clicking Create Scheduled Conference.

Conference recording will begin during the scheduled conference when the host joins the conference. Recording is activated by the host passcode. Participants are unable to activate recording. A prompt will remind the participants that their conference call is being recorded.

When all participants have disconnected from your call, the conference audio will be archived for later access. The archiving process may take up to 24 hours.  Your audio recording will be available as a replay to be played back via the telephone.

Accessing Recordings

The call host will then receive a confirmation email with replay information, dial-in numbers and a replay passcode.

You can also access your replays on MyRCPlus. Log into your account and click the “Account Management” drop-down. Select ReadyConference Replays and look for your recording in the list of Replays. Click the link under Conference ID to see details and dial-in information. At this screen, you can also purchase a CD recording of your call in MP3, WAV or WMA format. Click Purchase CD for ordering information.
