Cisco WebExTM Connect IM is a productivity tool you can use to send instant messages, initiate PGi audio conference calls, collaborate with team members, manage meetings and communicate more efficiently within and outside your company.

Signing in to Cisco WebEx Connect

  1. After launching Cisco WebEx Connect IM, enter your username and password on the sign-in page. 
  2. To save time when you sign in, you can have Cisco WebEx Connect IM: 
    1. Remember the last user name entered and prefill the username field for you
    2. Save the last password entered, so you don’t need to enter it each time

Note: You can also have Cisco WebEx Connect start automatically each time you start Windows.

Adding Your Audio Conference Accounts to WebEx Connect IM

  1. Select “Change Preferences” from the File drop-down menu
  2. Select “WebEx Meeting” and “Add/Edit Account”
  3. Enter your PGi audio conference information and click “Submit”

Your audio conference information will be saved and available for you to use during group IM sessions.

Start an Audio Conference from WebEx Connect IM
You may start an audio conference with two or more contacts from within WebEx Connect IM.

  1. From the drop-down menu, choose “TSP Conferencing> Account” 
  2. Enter or select your phone number and click Call Me
