Moderators can use Web Audio Controls to dial out to additional participants during a conference call. Dialing out is an easy way to help new participants, provide a personal touch to high-profile participants or assist those who are having trouble dialing in.
Note: Moderators must enable this feature. To learn more, contact customer service at +353(0)23 883 2493.
To use this feature, you must be currently using Web Audio Controls to host a ReadyConference meeting. If you need help hosting a meeting, see Getting Started: Using www.eurcplus.com.
Locate the “Dial Out” field underneath the Sub Conference section. Enter the number of the person you wish to dial out to.
Keep in mind that:
- You should always preface your dial-out number with a 1.
- You must include an area code.
- The dial-out function cannot connect to an 800 number or one that requires you to enter an extension.
- If you need to dial out to an international participant, please see How To: Dial Out to an International Participant.
Once you have entered the number, click Dial.
To dial in a participant as a call moderator, select Dialing moderator before clicking the Dial button. This will bring in your participant with full moderator options, including access to all moderator star controls.
The caller will hear: “Welcome to the conference Center, please press 1 to enter the meeting.”
