Conferencing: ReadyConference Plus
Moderator Roles and Privileges in ReadyConference Plus In this topic:Learn more about what moderators are able to do during a ReadyConference® Plus call.

Both moderators and participants can access and participate in ReadyConference® Plus calls via their passcodes. While many moderator and participant privileges are the same, unique passcodes grant extra options to moderators.

In addition to the privileges of regular participants, your moderator passcode grants the ability to perform the following actions:

  • Record the conference
  • Lock and unlock conference rooms
  • Activate subconferences
  • Initiate participant roll call
  • Disconnect all participants
  • Dial-out to missing participants
  • Mute or un-mute all participant lines

Note: If “on hold” music or enhanced authentication codes have been activated, a moderator must be present in order to begin the call. If the moderator has not activated these optional features, participants may join the conference without a moderator present.
